This is a New Brunswick, N.J. band including William Weis, Dave Urbano, and producer Claude Coleman of Ween fame, but vocalist Suran Song steals the show. She uses slide projections, props, video and more to produce “action art” while delivering her eerie, beautiful voice over the mostly mid-tempo pop-punk of the band. A few of the songs bring to mind a kinda Sonic Youthy thing if Kim Gordon were to embrace the concept of melody and try to sing in key.
